For those living around Kota Kinabalu and looking for a place to chill and drink with friends after office hour or on weekend, head on to Eighteen 28 Bistro & Bar, a new corner shop just at the entrance junction to Plaza 88, Kepayan, Kota Kinabalu.

Since it was just a soft opening, they're still much more to improve. However, it was considered good for introductory presentation with the Tapas Bar concept. Overall it has a simple but good ambiance, great selection of wine, fine dining and friendly owner and staff.
I decided to try on the Smoke Duck with Asian Fusion Salsa to compliment our red wine.
In conjunction with Chinese New Year, the owner served us with the special off-menu Hokkien Mee, which is in the house.
So if you want to try the free Hokkien Mee, be sure to visit the bar while its still Chinese New Year season!
