Little Blackwood
On a snowboarding trip to New Zealand, three very good friends and I stopped by a pub one late afternoon.
Attracted by the acoustic sounds that flowed from the Little Blackwood's doors we found ourselves sitting by the warmth of the fireplace sharing our days adventures over some beverages and a grazing board.
We opted for the three cheeses, three meats and decided to boost our board with extra items but it was slightly different to the menu as one particular side of meat was unavailable so some other accompaniments were added.
Our board consisted of garlic & chive gouda, wakatipu white brie, kawarau blue cheese, coppa serrana, milano venison, gherkins, artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, pear & fig chutney, dried apricots, roasted red peppers, cocktail onions, otago honeycomb, sundried tomato pesto, babaganoush and some sort of a pumpkin dip.
