Today I'll share with you the second day of my little challenge and the theme is Look up.
The concept is to illustrate pictures that are around us every day but we normally do not see. Either because we are in a hurry or just because we don't look at the right place or even the right angle!
I divided it in 5 sub-themes which all together will illustrate the unseen side of my daily walk! You can visit the first post through the link below.
The unseen side of my daily walk: 1/5 Look closely
Spring is here for good so when I scheduled this challenge it never crossed my mind that I may have to face bad weather conditions. Actually I was expecting to make pictures like the two below, that I took on a glorious day of February.
But when I got out of the house I saw that it was a foggy drizzling day and the thunders that I kept hearing wasn't promising, either!
Fotini was with me and took a few short videos with her mobile phone. I uploaded one of them on you tube if you want to grasp the feeling of the day :)
Nevertheless the point of the challenge was not to take the best pictures ever but the best possible in the given day, so I put my camera under the raincoat and started to walk.
The first picture of the post is actually the first one I took and probably the most interesting. I tried a couple more under an almond tree (the 2 shots above) which are pretty decent too but other than that I didn't had any luck.
On my way back I tried something different under the same pine tree but I think it fits best to the 5th day of the challenge by the theme Go colorblind :)
Stay tuned for the rest 3 days!
Best,
Stefanos.
All the pictures and the words are mine unless stated otherwise.
