8/17の横浜の天気は朝から小雨交じりでスッキリしないまま、日が暮れました。
さて、サトウキビですが、前回8/11から6日経過しましたので、天気はスッキリしませんが、しっかりと成長しているか気になったので、様子を見てきました。

ぱっと見ですが、結構育ってる感じがします。今回も茎の太さと一番伸びている葉を人工的に伸ばして測定してみました。
I feel that they are growing quite well. Also this time I measured the stem thickness and the most stretched leaves artificially extended.
茎の太さは、およそ1.5cmで、前回から数値自体は変わっていませんが、新しい葉も元気に伸びてきているので多少しっかりしてきた印象です。
The thickness of the stem is about 1.5 cm, and the numerical value itself has not changed since the last time, but the new leaves are also growing energetically, so it is a slightly impressing impression.
次に身長測定の結果ですが、101cmと、遂に当初の目標である1メートルを超えたぞ！ヤッター！！

畑の区画全体を見ても、その存在感は少し増したような気がしないでもありません。

もう少しちゃんと全体を見てみると、まあ、アシタバ最強なことには変わりは無いですね。

あとは、天気の回復とともに日差しが戻ってくればまた一層成長してくれることでしょう。
