And in a matter of 24 hours the temperatures outside dropped from what felt like 90F the day before the party, the last day with sunlight, to a much cooler 57F for the past few days. Much cooler than “predicted” by any weather app. I do observe that weather apps change their expected temps frequently leading up to that current time frame. Very misleading in my opinion.
But hey I can’t complain, just don some heavier clothes and get outside to see the greens bursting to life in the cool air. Fall came quick, but the Sun may return once before hurricane Florence makes landfall and clouds the place up again. And whenever the Sun shines directly it can heat this greenhouse up fast.
It sure is nice being able to grow your own lettuces and spinach’s. I also use this greenhouse for seed starting obviously. Give it a week and salads will be a flowing.
