Hi Hivians! I'm on a mission to bring more beauty, boobs and personal dev to Hive.
I work with J-Ryze, The Teacher Of Rebels...aka The Self-Help Eminem aka @Ryzeonline
We help rebels who are crushing business and life...we help them level up because we know everyone can Ryze.
J has been my teacher, mentor, and partner for the last 2.5 years and I have learned so much. I learn from him all day, every day, it's NOT an exaggeration.
But recently I've learned a lot of things quickly that have helped me change super fast. And I wanted to share them here with you all.
I started a list of the things that I have been transforming in my life lately. You can see the post here
I'm doing separate posts on each of the topics on my list and today's topic is: Physics: Every action has a reaction.
I learned this simple concept in Science class but I never thought about it relating to other areas of my life more than in Science class.
Sounds silly though now that I see it written down. Like, how could I NOT see that? But when we're not focused on something it can't be obvious.
Also I didn't see how it related to personal development when Jay and I first started talking about it. Like....how is Physics involved in me being better?
Well if I have a shitty attitude and go to talk to my partner, the consequences are he's going to hate my energy and leave the room or (more than likely) I'll get mad and start arguing with him.
If I wake up sad and I don't take care of my feelings and wallow in my sadness, it's going to have a negative affect on my business all day. I'm not going to be productive, or help my clients, or make any money.
If I find myself feeling doubtful about my skills and talents but I FIX my mood and feel better then the consequences are that I become more productive, helpful to my clients & my partner, and make money.
Since Jay taught me about how important physics is in my life, I've noticed a big change in how I think and how I decide things.
I woke up yesterday sad because it was my cousin's birthday. She would have been 40. She died so young after a very long battle with breast, lung, and brain cancer. We were very close and I was there with her and her mother when she died.
So the day started so sad for me. I cried before I even had my breakfast and coffee.
Jay and I go live on Facebook every Friday morning in our mastermind group and while we were doing the live, I started to cry. Jay said something to jar me out of that sadness and I realized, while we were on air, that I didn't want to spend my day as a sad sack, getting nothing done.
In that moment I decided to be happy and grateful that I had spent time with her and was blessed to have her in my life as long as I did. I felt instantly better and the rest of my day was amazing. I was productive, happy, and helpful.
If I had stayed in that sad place then I would have had a miserable day and made it miserable for Jay too. We might have gotten into a fight, got nothing done, and both felt the crappy energy in the house. Physics, man.
But that didn't happen because I knew that whatever I chose there would be a consequence, good or bad.
So the next time you have a choice to make...stop for a moment and think about the consequences. Play it out in your head. It will help you decide faster, easier, and better.
My life has improved since I started to think past my knee-jerk reactions and play out what my choices mean for me, my relationship, my business, my clients, and in all areas of my life (even my cooking).
If I can do it, so can you.
~Love, Cyn
P.S.
Thanks @Ryzeonline for helping me with my beautiful #Hivefie today. I love this photo, it's one of my favorites.
