I've been living in Denmark for the past 6 years. Besides their language, I learned about a few of their delicious traditional foods, and couldn't help but sharing it with you :)
I'm not that good at making food, but one of the first traditional Danish foods I was taught to make here, was delicious and very easy to prepare.
Photos are all original and taken by me.
Danish Potato Soup
Ingredients
Danes love potatoes.
And onions.
Preparing in steps
Melt some butter in a big soup bowl.
Add only the white part of the onion and mix them with the butter.
Add a part of the potatoes, and mix.
Add the rest of the potatoes, together with a liter of water (or less, just enough to fill the bowl).
Let them boil until the potatoes are soft.
Mix them with a mixer machine, until they get creamy.
Then add 250g of milk - 38% fat.
Mix again until they're all blend.
Add the green part of the onions.
Mix with a wooden spoon.
