Farmers of Jessore (Jessore is a district of Bangladesh) have started cultivation of BORO (BORO is one kind of paddy grows in Bangladesh) at Magh's beginning (Magh is the name of a Bengali month). The farmers are very busy for BORO plantation in the field and it becomes just like a festival in this season. They are working tirelessly from early morning to evening. The work of preparing the seedbed and crop fields is going on. Preparing the land, cultivation of rice seedlings from seedbed and sowing of rice seedlings is underway. Who will prepare the land in advance, who will plant rice seedlings beforehand – this becomes a competition every year among the farmers.
