Today was supposed to be a sleep in day. Saturday morning, wake up, have coffee in bed with my wife - it’s the best.
However, when you live in Vancouver, and you get sunny weather, you kinda have to take advantage of it while it’s there. So last night I prepped my road bike for a morning ride - not to early but early enough to catch a sunrise.
So I hope on the bike this am, and start my cruise along Beach ave., in downtown Vancouver. It’s a beautiful start to get the legs warmed up on this chilly mornings. Within minutes your body is awake and ready to crank out some watts.
I had a route in mind but I made a slight detour today because this fall weather is too gorgeous to not take in a good view or two. So I went around Stanley park to capture a couple shots before stopping to watch the sunrise on lions gate bridge.
