Add the above ingredients to your own liking and divide the cinamon by a 10th of that liking.
It's that time of the year again, it's getting a bit colder and when that happens: nothing beats a warm hot chocolate milk stuffed with more marshmallows. It's easy to make and with the right ingredients, it can certainly be called a guilty pleasure. So much sweetness in a cup! The secret with this chocolate milk is to add marshmallows while you heat the milk. Stir around until they dissolve entirely. This will give the chocolate milk a fluffy and foamy texture. Add the cacao powder, cinnamon by taste and sugar. You can even go wild by replacing the regular sugar with vanilla sugar.
After all the marshmallows are completely dissolved, the milk is hot enough, pour it in a cup and top it off with more marshmallows and cacao and/or cinnamon powder. Quite delish if you'd ask me.
I wanted to explore the world of food photography a little bit more because styling food is one of the hardest things to do in my honest opinion. It can taste good, but the real challenge with food photography is to show how good it tastes on film. Personally, I think this photograph is safe enough to call it a good food photography picture, but a little bit too boring for my taste. So... I went a little bit nuts and blew some cacao powder while having a longer shutter speed.
Which one do you prefer?
Cheers,
Ruben
