Sneaky me... I waited for my roommate to get upstairs... he might find out that I have become a true alcoholic warrior with some serious issues. So the last beers were ups and downs, so what am I going to expect from this one. I just had to take a La Trappe Blond, I usually only drink Tripple's, because, yeah, why the fuck not and just because I simply can, and why would you drink a double if you can drink a Tripple or even a Quadruppel #youfeelmeorwhat.
For the challenge, I am not only going to try out 7 new beers, but I am also going to see and try if I can make artwork for the new beers that I will be trying out.

La Trappe Blond is brewed by the one of the 11 Trappisten Brewers in Belgium: De Koningshoeven. The beer has three awards on its name. The beer has a golden color and a white beer collar. The smell of the beer is rich of fresh and fruity aroma's that blend well together with the sweet malt. While drinking, the beer is very accessible and is tickling your tastebuds with a sweet, little bitter and malt taste. Quite friendly and enjoyful after-taste that blossoms after each sip.
The Experience
Another Belgian beer! I have had La Trappe before, but never tried the blond. While popping this baby open, it reminded me of the typical Belgian beers I had before. Rich of aroma's. When I poured the beer in the glass, the beer collar seemed to be rich, but not enough volume to sustain itself. This one is going to die out pretty early as well. But no worries! I haven't lost faith in this one just yet. The beer is good, I can tell you, still not used to the 'lighter' beers, but the 6.5% is a decent but just did not have that bite for me personally. It's fruity, that I can tell. Pretty complex beer with a soft and gentle touch.

Yes or No?
Yeah, not a huge yes. But def. a beer to try out for yourselves if you enjoy true Belgian Trappisten beer. Don't have to say more about this beer as I enjoyed it.
For my next nomination I'll be nominating , go drink some beers!
Cheers,
Ruben
