Every rave event DVD showcases the music and DJ's, but I wanted to get to know the girls! When I discovered the Rave Babes community I was perplexed why there was not already professionals filming a series specifically focused on these beauties! 
It was a fast learning curve in that wild party environment, with expensive equipment, capturing any image is difficult AT NIGHT! Mostly it's a venue packed with dudes, who all wanna shout "Waaaheyyyyy!!" in extreme-close-up down the lens of your camera, drawn like moths to the production lights! Filming in the dark is always tough on image quality, then add to this chasing down the babe butterflies who are almost impossible to catch. See em once, ask to shoot them immediately, coz there's absolutely no guarantee of ever seeing them again!!
Flash photography in a nightclub venue is already a nightmare. No one can communicate over the loud music, and now add to this headache the simple fact that 99% of the party people will walk in front of your camera completely oblivious! It's a challenge, but it's always worthwhile afterwards!!
The rave butterfly chase is all part of the thrill! The hardest part of all for me, is I keep falling in love with every single one of 'em! Hahaa!!
