Hi Steem friends,
Today I'm sharing a photo that I took yesterday while I was celebrating Mother's Day with my family. As my father, my brother and I try to do each year, we got together yesterday and spent the day doing a variety of tasks and chores for my mother while she spent the afternoon relaxing. Given that she does so much for all of us on a daily basis, we feel that it's only right that we celebrate her for being so wonderful to us all.
When it came time for dinner, my brother and I prepared a very nice meal on the barbecue - hamburgers and seasoned chicken shish kabobs. We paired these with some seasoned roast potatoes and a Caesar salad. Finally for dessert - as you can probably tell from the photo that I'm sharing today - we enjoyed a delicious chocolate and vanilla cake. It had a very moist texture with a rich flavor and everyone seemed to love it!
