My favourite day of the week is here again and today's Pie is Beef Steak & 3Bean Chilli. Another Custom Creation made by my Mum. This badboy can't be found on the menu, the chilli is vegetarian but she put in some tender chunks of Ale infused Meat Specially for Me :-)
I tried to score a heart 💗 design onto the top but I pierced through the pastry and it started bleeding gravy out the wound! The all butter Pastry was perfect as usual. Flaky, crisp and Melt in your Mouth.
I Love Pies they are my ultimate comfort food, it's so exciting giving Mum ideas about what Pies to make, and then waiting for her to get back from work with goodies in her handbag.
Next time I've asked her for Fish Pie which should be absolutely amazing 🐟 it's one of her signature recipes but I haven't eaten one for years, and usually she does them with a mashed potato topping so can't wait to have one wrapped in pastry! :-)
