It may, however, be a good idea to follow our comments and flags and judge for yourselves.

Why? Because the pending rewards being shown on shit posts on the Trending Page are disheartening and insulting to proper content providers, and also emphasise the already scammy image of Steemit to first-time visitors.

It is up to the whole community to clean up things a bit, but most of the larger wallets are hiding behind their delegations and are making money from bidbots, so their interests lie elsewhere: short-term profit without caring about the long-term viability of Steemit.

The largest wallets may have the largest responsibility, but they are not going to intervene; it's up to the rest.
