I can't speak for all of everyone but I have had my fair share of pizza throughout the country and sampled all of the major chains, as well as mom and pop pizza joints and gourmet pizza restaurants all over the USA. Over the years, my pizza taste test known as life has brought me back time and time again for a slice (or whole pie) of Hungry Howies.
I've never lived in a place that has a Hungry Howie's (or else I would be significantly heavier). Though they are based out of Michigan, I always associate them with Arizona's East Valley, where I had my first taste. And I've never returned to Arizona without also returning to this pizza chain.
Although their menu features things like calzones, sandwiches, and brownies, I've never had anything but their signature pizza. And I've never been disappointed. Hungry Howie's consistently offers high quality pizza, that is affordable, flavorful, and gobble-up-able.
So if you are near one of their 550 locations, do yourself and your stomach a favor and get a pizza. And don't forget to try one of their flavored crusts, it adds a whole extra layer of deliciousness to their already fantastic pizza.
And if anyone disagrees, please tell me in the comments what your favorite pizza chain is.
