Yes, I may be a little bit prejudiced because I live in Boston. But the donut is bigger than the city, the Boston cream donut is the official state donut of Massachusetts!
For those wondering the difference between a Boston Cream donut and a Bavarian Cream donut the answer is the topping. A Boston Cream donut is topped with the chocolate frosting. While a Bavarian Cream donut is topped with powdered sugar.

sooo enticing.

out the door I flew,

my one and only stop.
