GLUTTONY
Feeding the appetite
Of nonsensical logic
Gorging on slop at the trough
A swine in men's clothing
Drowning in disgust
Never in himself will he trust
Pasting over problems
With chocolate covered desserts
Hiding in distraction
Busied by buffets of contempt for oneself
Forgetting the admirable potential within him
He wallows in candy covered lust wishing he were slim
Spiraling deeper in descent
Emotions blacken his spirit
Apathy sets in
Hopes and dreams are soured like grapes
He curses himself
His body sags melting away ambition
No woman would dare kiss him
Falling deeper into despair
Life itself no longer has meaning
Depression has taken away all his care
Suffering and sadness feeding the demon
Now owning his very soul
A slave
Forever stuck in bottomless hole
Free In Thought
