Bangkok city is well know by tourist around the world to have huge complexes of shopping malls all around the city shopping malls in Bangkok is like a street vendor in every corner of Bangkok streets , so for a person who is a shopaholic this is the city to be in and i can guarantee you won't suffer from any withdrawal symptoms.
"MBK Center Mall"
Today i am going to take you on a tour showing you five of the most popular shopping malls in Bangkok city and the amazing part about these five huge shopping malls is the way they have designed them you can walk from one mall to the other by connecting walkways and bridges there is no getting involvement with crossing dangerous roads and no buses or taxis needed to get there how cool is that.
You can take a BTS Skytrain to National Stadium station once you hope of the train your at the front door of MBK Center Mall now i am not going to take you into the malls as this will involve hundreds of photos already this post it going to have about 100 photos hope you don't mind and this is just the outside areas of these spectacular malls.
MBK Center Mall is a eight storeys, the center contains around 2,000 shops, restaurants and service outlets and the whole of the 4th floor is just for thousands of all brand mobile phones and accessories for mobile phones. Camera shops of every model , Endless clothing shops a huge food court and cinemas you could spend a whole day just in this mall and still not see it all.
The Buddha house out front of MBK Center all malls have a Buddha house out front of malls to bring them fortune and good luck i particular like this one as it is done in so much fine detail.
MBK Center is not a fancy mall, but has a huge selection and competitive prices. Be prepared to bargain! I think this mall is very good when it comes to electronics, handbags and luggage.But they have also lots of jewelry, watches and sports gears shops. This is the mall that every tourist in Bangkok visits, cos its value-for-money,in air-conditioned comfort with a huge variety of products.
Siam Discovery Mall is directly opposite MBK Center Mall without stepping down to cross any dangerous roads you simply walk along these huge walkway space built above this enormous intersection below with huge concrete pillars all around you where the Skytrains tracks are built upon it's a real buzz seeing all these trains going in all direction above you.

I loved all the Satellite dishes or maybe huge mushrooms along this walkway joining Siam Discovery Mall and MBK Center Mall not only were they very artistic with the graffiti work on them but they also made the place look like a real fun fair and also provided good shade and protection from the rain like a big umbrella.
The Siam Discovery Mall is a seven storey shopping mall with more then 400 shops and is more of a sophisticated mall it has a beautiful way of presenting it's items on display and the design inside the mall is very unique.
This open style mall has a huge atrium in the center with shops located around it. The atrium is criscrossed by escalators and bridges and gives a very open feel to the mall. There are many geometric shapes with embedded TV screens, forming a sort of see through wall to one side of the atrium. The mall has the usual assortment of fashion stores, kiosk and food court. It also has a Madame Tussauds wax museum which the tourists will find interesting.
As you come out of Siam Discovery Mall you will be walking into Siam Center Mall either from downstairs or a walkway bridge connecting the two malls. The Siam Center Mall is more of the city’s trendiest fashion malls, with dozens of boutiques by up and coming and renowned Thai designers but they do have international brands also to name a couple like Adidas and Victoria’s Secret. Also has a huge food court and many brand name restaurants like Fuji Japanese Restaurant.

This was the road running along side the Siam Center mall which leads to the car park you can do window shopping from out here and the Siam Absolute car park all done in very green ecosystem very nice.
I loved the court yard between the Siam Discovery mall and the Siam Center mall you could sit and relax in this green area and order some snacks and coffee from this mobile Slow Bar and also enjoy the lookingup views very neat i thought 🙂
As you come out of Siam Center Mall directly in front is the mother of all malls the Siam Paragon another very exclusive and unique mall one of my favorite to visit in Bangkok this mall has absolutely anything you can think of apart from all the brand names it even has many high tech performance cars and motor bikes in this mall so if your shopping for a Ferrari car or a Ducati bike you will find it here.
"Siam Paragon Mall"
The walkway connection between Siam Center mall and Siam Paragon mall.
This mall is just super it has a huge range of products, name-brand clothes,restaurants,books/electronic shops, a super food-court and endless departmental store.Also,a cinema complex with nearly 15 theaters, which is why one can enjoy movies here,without them being crowded and also has the one of the best Ocean World Aquarium in Asia found on bottom floor. This is a sneak preview of inside the mall you can see how classy this Siam Paragon Mall is.
And across from Siam Paragon mall is Siam Square One Mall is a open air shopping complex housing many restaurants. This shopping mall is rather small compared to the other four i have shown you and this mall is more popular among the locals and other Asians. On the whole 4th and 5th floor there are restaurants which mostly serve Asian food so if you really love Asian foods this is the mall for you and if you like street food right beside the mall is great cheap street food vendors.
"Siam Square One Mall"
Exploring the Siam Center of Thailand, from MBK Center Mall until you reach the Siam Square One Mall can be a lot of fun. One can enjoy variety of interesting and educational activities but if you wanted to really get deep into shopping here and see everything in one day it would be impossible just the Siam Paragon itself has 100 acres of shopping floor can you imagine that i spent most of the day just walking around the outside of these five malls 😨
