Hoy es un día especial, nuestra comunidad Needleworkmonday se viste de fiesta para celebrar el día más especial de todo el año, ¡que no es otro más que! ¡El día de las madres!
Dios en su infinita misericordia creó a estos seres esplendorosos y los envió a la tierra para que cuidaran de sus hijos. Yo tengo la suerte de tener a una madre maravillosa, ella con su gran corazón me brindó cuidados y gracias a eso nunca me sucedió nada malo.
Las madres también nos brindan cariño, protección, servicio, felicidad, ternura, comprensión. Aquí pudiese quedarme sentada escribiendo miles de cosas buenas de todas las madres del mundo, porque todas son buenas y lo dan todo por sus hijos. Y en este día, en cualquier lugar del planeta que te encuentres te felicito y te dedico esta publicación.
Desde que vi de que trataba el concurso me puse a pensar que hacer y sobre todo a quien se lo iba a dedicar; como les comenté la semana pasada no soy experta en hacer piezas tan pequeñas y mucho menos joyería, sabiendo que tenía estas dos debilidades saque a relucir mis fortalezas. Siempre me han gustado los retos y este no me iba a quedar pequeño, así que invité a la señora creatividad y a la señora paciencia y la invité a una tarde de té. Entonces, de acuerdo a mis posibilidades coincidimos en hacer un collar de esferas tejido en crochet.
Teniendo aclarado el primer punto, organicé una pijamada e invité a la señora Amistad y a la señora Respeto, doña honestidad ¡y la que no puede faltar en una pijamada! mi amiga Alegría, la misión era escoger la que sería digna merecedora de este collar.
Esa noche mí cabeza anduvo por muchos lados, pensé en todas esas personas maravillosas que han pasado por mi vida desde que era una niña, luego como adolescentes y ahora en mi etapa de madre adulta. Me di cuenta de cuantas amigas se han ido, no solo al cielo sino también a otros países en busca de un futuro mejor para sus familias. Pero no estoy sola, gracias a Dios sigo contando con buenas amigas, ellas también son madres como yo y compartimos momentos bonitos de la vida y la maternidad.
Pues bien, esa noche no pude decidir nada, solo pensaba en todas mis amigas a las que me gustaría regalarle algo así, pero son muchas, entonces me calmé y dejé la decisión para otro día.
Ustedes no me lo van a creer, pero es que cuando vi ese collar finalizado se despejaron todas mis dudas y solo pensé en una sola persona "Mi amiga Johana"
Johana es mi vecina, ella fue una de las primeras personas que me tendió la mano cuando llegué a vivir a este lugar. Es la persona más amable que conozco, siempre esta allí para ayudarte y resolverte cualquier inconveniente que tengas. Pero no se trata solo de esa persona que te colabora, sino que también es la que comparte momentos buenos y los no tan buenos. Nuestros hijos siempre han sido buenos amigos, jugaron desde niños, estudiaron juntos, fueron los primeros invitados a las piñatas y ahora comparten sus propios secretos.
Para resumir y no alargarme mucho hablando de Johana, solo les puedo decir que ella es ejemplo de madre abnegada, respetuosa y luchadora. Pido a Dios que le conceda mucha salud y un buen empleo para que siga saliendo adelante junto a su hijo. Y por supuesto que nuestra amistad siga creciendo cada día y se mantenga en el tiempo.

Lo primero que hacemos es tejer 6 puntos bajos en un aro mágico, siempre debemos marcar el primer punto, ya que sobre él es que vamos a iniciar cada vuelta. En la segunda vuelta tejemos aumentos de puntos bajos, es decir, dos puntos en cada punto de base, tercera vuelta tejemos un aumento y luego un punto bajo normal. Seguimos tejiendo dos vueltas de puntos bajos normales.
Ahora vamos a ir reduciendo y para eso tejemos una vuelta de un punto bajo y luego una disminución, continuamos así hasta terminar la vuelta, por ultimo metemos la esfera y la acomodamos muy bien, tejemos 6 disminuciones y cerramos con un punto deslizado.
Es muy importante que tengas o trabajes con un marcador, eso hará que tus bolas queden perfectas. Solo les puedo decir que perdí el miedo a tejer cosas pequeñas; no sé cuál era mi miedo, ahora comprobé que es fácil y que si puedo hacer amigurumi.

Como ven este es el resultado final de mi collar, estoy contenta de no haberme rendido y haber comprobado que lo que le decimos a nuestros hijos también lo podemos aplicar a nuestra vida "No digas que no, sino lo has probado".

Since I saw what the contest was about I started to think about what to do and especially to whom I was going to dedicate it; as I told you last week I am not an expert in making such small pieces and much less jewelry, knowing that I had these two weaknesses I brought out my strengths. I have always liked challenges and this one was not going to be small, so I invited Mrs. creativity and Mrs. patience and invited her to an afternoon tea. Then, according to my possibilities we agreed to make a crochet necklace of spheres.

That night my head wandered in many places, I thought of all those wonderful people who have passed through my life since I was a little girl, then as a teenager and now as an adult mother. I realized how many friends have gone, not only to heaven but also to other countries in search of a better future for their families. Well, that night I could not decide anything, I just thought of all my friends that I would like to give something like that, but there are many, so I calmed down and left the decision for another day.
You are not going to believe it, but when I saw that necklace all my doubts were cleared and I only thought of one person "My friend Johana".
Johana is my neighbor, she was one of the first people who reached out to me when I came to live here. She is the kindest person I know, she is always there to help you and solve any inconvenience you have. But it is not only that person who helps you, she is also the one who shares good and not so good moments. Our children have always been good friends, they played since they were kids, they studied together, they were the first guests at piñatas and now they share their own secrets.
To sum up and not to talk too long about Johana, I can only tell you that she is an example of a self-sacrificing, respectful and fighting mother. I pray to God to grant her good health and a good job so that she can continue to move forward with her son. And of course, may our friendship continue to grow every day and be maintained over time.
