Hi Hive family, this is my first post on the Hive community and my aim is that you get to know me and the value I plan to bring to this community.
You can call me Deji and the content that will be posted through this account will be from me.
So let's get to know me, who is Deji?
Learning experience
I will like to start with my educational background. I am an Engineering graduate but I am not practicing Engineering, why? Don't worry you will know shortly.
In 2017, the same year that I graduated from the University, I came across a sponsored post on Facebook by Google about learning the fundamental of internet marketing, and that was how I picked interest in digital skills. Then, I learned introduction to social media marketing, email marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), etc.
I later realized that I would need a little bit of design skill, and that was how I learned how to design with Canva in 2018.
Working experience
When you learn and don't put it into practice, you will likely forget. In other not to forget the things that I have learned, I decided to work with a company as their social media manager, although the pay was not too encouraging but remember, the goal is to put my skill into use.
After the first place that I worked, I have also worked for a few others in a similar role, and sometimes, I write a blog post for some of them.
Volunteer experience
There was a time in 2019 that I was not doing any 9-5 job, so I had time for myself because I was working as a freelancer.
It was around that time that I saw a post by Junior Achievers of Nigeria (JAN) requesting volunteers for one of their programs and I decided to volunteer for the program.
Hobbies and interests
Due to the nature of my work as a freelancer, people will easily think that I'm a boring person but I'm not. I have some things I do for fun and singing is one of them. I always enjoy listening to good music and my choice of music cut across various genres of songs but primarily Christian songs, but when it comes to listening to songs for fun,
I enjoy Afrobeat, RnB. I also know how to play the piano and don't even let's talk about my dancing skill, which is top-notch.
Talking about my interest, many fascinating things always catch my attention but I have come to realize that one needs to stay focused on a particular interest if one wants to be productive. And that's why I have decided to stay focused and stick to tech but then tech itself is a very wide area and this is the age of the decentralization movement, so I've decided to focus on the latest happenings in the tech ecosystem which is web3, the web evolution upon which the Hive ecosystem, itself is developed.

What do I have to offer the Hive ecosystem?
Wherever I am, I always ensure that I am updated with adequate knowledge and I don't usually keep this knowledge to myself but always share it with those around me.
This is why on Hive, I will be sharing with the community useful information on web3 topics such as NFT, Dapp, DAO, Metaverse, and other fascinating topics.
I salute those who have been in the community before I joined, thank you for keeping the community active.
