After reading some posts here and there, I realized that there are actually a couple of people around the Hive ecosystem that are selling stuff for Hive or HBD. Some were selling services, others were selling coins, coffee and more. I was curious as I think that this is something amazing that we should market a lot and ofc pay attention to it. You see an ecosystem where people can buy and sell things with the native token and generally speaking cryptos can thrive.
Now there are different kinds of things to buy and sell as I mentioned before, that fall under different categories. For example, it’s one thing to create a game like Splinterlands for example that gives the option to people to pay in Hive/HBD and do micro-transactions and another thing to sell let’s say coffee or to accept HBD in your cafeteria.
Thus, we are talking about real market value that not only can boost businesses and people but it can also increase the visibility of Hive and attract more and more people. As I said I was curious and did a little bit of digging and what I discovered is that already there is a Dapp which is a type of Marketplace that’s called @HiveLIST.
So HiveLIST is basically like a marketplace where you can buy and sell whatever you want and they also have their own token called LIST. The good thing was that I found some nfts and art-related stuff as well as tech stuff like a power bank for example which is pretty cool. I also found a bunch of stuff like clothes with the LOGO of Hive or some of its tokens which basically come out of third-party businesses.
Literally, some of the guys that are selling this are in a way the middleman and do not provide anything. It’s like some Youtubers you might have seen that are selling and promoting T-Shirts with their logos, but hey if you like that who am I to judge? Also from what I have read HiveLIST faced some issues with their payment processor because of Cryptos and NFTS but now they are back on track as they said and they also increased their security.
Aside from HiveLIST, I stumbled during my search upon a post from 
All in all, I don’t know how but I think we need to create something either like a marketplace or a page with all the categories and the businesses for all of us to know. Not only it will increase the transactions inside the Hive I think with the right Marketing it will lead more people here as well, especially when they found out the benefits of Hive!
Imagine how cool it would be if you can go in a single webpage and see different categories of stuff that are being in sell, categories of businesses that offer stuff online and in person, freelancers that offer their services, the average joe that is selling some of his stuff. Then if you click let’s say on an individual person, he can state what he is selling, he can have a link to his page that is provided or his Hive account, some contact information which again can be his Hive account or a discord number and at the same time REVIEWS from us so that we know after a period of time that this guys/business is legit. (There should be a security check before you get listed on the site ofc, also give me a % for the idea :P)
I don’t know about you but not only I would buy stuff using HIVE or HBD but I would also try to sell some of my unwanted stuff instead of throwing them out or keeping them home and having no space.
