Namaste 🇮🇳🙏🏻
Hello friends, how are you all?? wishing you all happy and prosperous life ahead.
Today I would like to share india's most common, simple and tasty street food or chaat made up with boiled potato patties or with other chaat chutneys and spices. Tikki chaat is a filling and appetizing snack that mainly originated in North India, but is hugely popular all over India today even nowadays a available in foreign countries too.
History of tikki chaat
According to the most accepted folklore, Chaat traces its beginning in the royal court of the great Emperor Shah Jahan. When he fell ill, the Royal Hakim advised the Emperor to go for a meal which was both spicy and also light on the belly.
Friends do you seen indian Aloo tikki in your country??
Aloo tikki is loved by all age group from kids to old age people. These crunchy and succulent tikki made up by mashed boiled potatoes patties bathed in curds with some green spicy chutney and sweet chutney with some spicy masala on top, for garnish add sev and coriander leaves to make more tasty.
Just by mentioning the name of Aloo Tikki, my mouth starts watering. This is my favorite street food. I almost eat it three to four times a week because I have a craving for spicy water balls or Tikki in the evening. And there are at least 6 tikki stalls within 1 kilometer range of my house, And every tikki stalls has his own taste.
In India, whether you are in a small town or a big city, you will find Tikki stalls everywhere. Well, there are many tikki stalls in my city but the specialty of the stall which 'm sharing in the photos is that the tikkis are not made in any waste oil(harmful), they are made only with pure desi ghee(clarified Butter) which is healthy.
I had clicked this photo when Tikki waale bhaiya was making tikkis, so that I can show you the complete process of tikkis making ...
