The adults seemed so ashamed, so secretive, and yet in TV and movies and on the internet all I’d see is gratuitous pyornographic imagery telling me to be sexual, telling me to be more desirable this way, that the goal was to hook up and be with someone who’d stimulate me with dopamine addled deep lust. But there wasn’t anyone there to educate me about the subtlies of it all, how to relate, how to communicate, how to ask for and give consent, how to listen to my body, about the true makeup of my body.

My mum probably only told me once while growing up what the clitoris was and that was probably when I started having my period. It's not like she didn't want to but anything related to sex , reproductive system is usually frowned upon in our communities.
Many mothers don't feel the need to educate their daughters about such because its not something they ought to know yet, perhaps until they start bearing children. And you can't really blame them, that's what they were taught. Things like that get passed on for generations so everyone is used to just overlooking the topic.

I am one of those who think that the more communication with our partner, the better the relationship will be, in all senses, because it gives room for greater understanding and to foster mutual interest in pleasing the desires and needs of us as women and of the partner as part of a relationship that should be reciprocal.

Living here in the Colombian Pacific, I realize the great need that many households have when it comes to water. But I have also noticed all the measures they take so that their lives can function normally even with this lack of potable liquid.I currently live in a community where water arrives daily, during many hours of the day and we can carry out our normal activities, we only store a little for the hours when we will not have service, but it is not something extreme.
