“THE BARN was very large. It was very old. It smelled of hay and it smelled of manure. It smelled of the perspiration of tired horses and the wonderful sweet breath of patient cows. It often had a sort of peaceful smell—as though nothing bad could happen ever again in the world.”
Love the beautiful blue skies! Reminds of me so much of the Big Sky Country of Montana where we used to live.
Beautiful skies after rain & snow in the mountains.
The early morning rays just enlightened this white prairie church in a most interesting manner
The heavens above shining down on this small church and the occupants of graveyard! Judging by that dark sky I’d say this picture could be named “the calm before the storm”!
Look at those beautiful headstones!
Out on one of my explorations looking for the The Lost City of Gold,I came across this old barn so I decided to see what was inside it. It was then I made this harrowing discovery. I don't know why people do this to animals?
When I moved to this house there was a grey squirrel pelt on the garage ceiling.
Chris and I happened upon this one while on a weekend trip. It was so stunning we wondered, why would anyone walk away from this!? Our hunch was developers because of the property and location. After exploring it we came across a few others literally around the corner telling us, most definitely developers. They pretty much bought up the block! Unfortunately...the local riff Raff made it there long before us and completely vandalized these lovely homes...
I HOPE YOU ALL LIKE THAT AND UPVOTED MY POST THANKS>>>>
