This donut is not processed with wheat flour and yeast, but we will make this donut with glutinous rice flour like a slightly chewy mochi texture. well, the ingredients you have to prepare to make mochi donuts are certainly not expensive and you can get them at the nearest supermarket. The first ingredients you have to prepare are glutinous rice flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, glazed chocolate, margarine, eggs and also liquid milk which is separated into 2 cups. You can replace the brand of the material with a brand that is available in your country. now let's start the first step of making this mochi donut.
the first step, what you have to do first is prepare a frying pan and melt 35gram margarine in a small place like the photo above using small. Stir gently until the margarine is completely melted.
the second step, after you've melted the margarine until it's done, now prepare a small place and put 30 grams of glutinous rice flour and 2 tablespoons of liquid milk. Then stir until everything is well mixed.
the third step, after you've stirred until well blended, now prepare the steamer and heat the steamer until it's really hot. after the steamer is hot, put the mochi mixture that has been mixed well into the steamer. Then, steam for 3 minutes on medium heat.
the fourth step, after you have finished steaming the mochi dough, now prepare another place and put 1 egg that has been beaten, 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar and half a teaspoon of salt, you can also use powdered sugar instead of granulated sugar. Then, stir until the sugar dissolves using a whisk.
the fifth step, after the dough has been stirred until well blended, now all you have to do is put 110 ml of liquid milk and margarine that you have melted. Then, mix again using a whisk until well blended.
the sixth step, after you have stirred until well blended, now prepare another medium-sized place, then put 230gram glutinous rice flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder. then stir the mixture until well blended using a spoon.
the seventh step, after the dry dough has been mixed well, now put the milk mixture that you previously prepared. then, knead the dough by hand until the dough is really smooth and has a texture that can be shaped. Don't forget to wash your hands first before kneading the dough.
the eighth step, after the dough is very smooth and can be shaped, now put the mochi dough that you steamed earlier and knead again until well blended. if the texture of the dough still feels mushy, you can also add enough glutinous rice flour for the dough.
the ninth step, after the dough is finished, now all you have to do is make the dough into 6 circular circles like the photo above. After that, put the dough on the baking paper so it doesn't stick. Repeat this step until all the dough is used up.
tenth step, after you have made all the dough as in the previous photo, now prepare a frying pan and put enough cooking oil into the pan. Then, heat the cooking oil until it's really hot on low heat.
the eleventh step, after the cooking oil is hot, now fry the mochi donut dough one by one until both sides are brown. Frying mochi donuts is different from frying donuts in general, because mochi donuts must be fried a little longer than usual donuts using only low heat.
the last step, after all the mochi donuts have been fried until both sides are cooked, now dip the mochi donuts into the melted chocolate until evenly distributed and if you want to add toppings, you can add peanut toppings or toppings as you wish.
and finally, mochi donuts can be served with your family and friends. the taste is quite unique and not at all the same as donuts in general, because these donuts have a chewy texture like mochi. for taste, these donuts are very tasty and you can sell them in your city.
