Cafe George - Fall In Love with Good Food

It's no brainer that this restaurant is a hit. From all the reviews I had read online and based on my own experiencing when dining in at their other branch in Ayala Center Cebu.

People flock to get a table in Cafe George but don't get me wrong. The number of people or guests might discourage those who'll be coming for a blind date but, mind you, it is a perfect restaurant to treat that other person. She'll definitely go home happy with a smile on her face because of the good food her palate will never be the same.

Cafe George is located along the highway in Gov. M. Cuenco Ave, Cebu City, at the ground floor of MLD Building. They got good and guarded parking area and the restaurant always have people inside.

It was the same case as when my husband and I had dinner here.

We arrive just a few minutes before six and the air conditioned areas were already full. We had no other choice but to take the al fresco dining experience.

Still, it was better than not being able to get a table. So if you plan on having a blind date, make sure to call the restaurant for reservation.

Even though we were seated outside, we appreciate that the management placed an electric mosquito killer just right behind us, so there was no issue with insects.

The crews here are very alert and well trained. They were always on a look out for those who need help. Most of them are ladies and would serve with a pleasing smile.

The food here is perfect! As mentioned above, they are always pack and everyone whom I had shared about the restaurant would agree, even my Belgian boss love it here!

For the starter, we had garlic bread with this spinach dip which was really good! The spinach is mixed with mozarella cheese so you'd imagine how the dip clings to the bread and spreads out like rubber.

Their grilled two pieces chicken breast with some sweet sauce and this green salad is a must have! Its high in fiber and the combination is just awesome.

That was James' order.

I requested for a pasta dish. Who doesn't love pasta anyway? The mixture of the sauce and the cheese is my favorite. I can eat this everyday!

I ordered a cup of hot tea too to compliment my sweet pasta! I have nothing but praise for this restaurant!

And lastly, we can't leave the place without having dessert of course!

I ordered their delicious carrot cake which was served nicely in this white plate. As you can see, this is a tall and generous slice. This carrot cake is really good, it was filled with nuts too which I really like. Carrot cake is my favorite and so I was totally in love with this, it is better than that of Leona's Bakeshop!

Overall, this was a great experience and a lovable place to spend lunch or dinner with a loved one.
