So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on the second topic for this week, which is “ALL ABOUT THE ZOO”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “PHYSICAL SKILLS”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us the physical skills that they had. Skills that would end up being useful if the internet were suddenly lost. There were so many skills, from handwork to life skills, that could be really beneficial in the long run.
We got to see that, beyond the internet, it was possible to have a source of livelihood for many of us. With such skills at our disposal, no matter how bad things got, we’d eventually find a way to make things work in our favor. It was an enlightening topic, indeed.

And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. Being pretty handy with tools, he can take care of any eventuality that comes up. Which is something that would be a great help if the internet were to suddenly vanish.

For this author, he told us about how much he loves to cook and bake. In today’s world, this could be a very handy skill considering how much people will be in need of such services. He also told us that while technical skills would be helpful in getting a job, soft skills are what will help grow in that job.

For this author, she told us that one thing that she loved dearly was teaching. And if she was forced to take up a job offline, it would be this particular profession. She’s also a good cook, and if it gets to that point, there will always be a way to make money from her cooking skills.

“What are your thoughts on Zoos and wildlife recreational parks? Do you think that the wild animals are being exploited for human entertainment? Would they be better off in the wild? Even though many of them won't live as long. Is there a way that putting wild animals in cages or enclosed areas for people to watch will ever be a good thing?”
