Actually, I prefer to be outdoors or in lost places with my torches, but if the weather doesn't cooperate, you can also be creative in the basement. I had collected some autumn leaves and attached them to a small clamp. Then I pointed the camera at the leaves and turned the camera around its own optical axis during the exposure. For some of the pictures I also turned the zoom. I illuminated the leaves with different torches from different angles.
Eigentlich bin ich ja lieber im Freien oder in Lost Places mit den Taschenlampen unterwegs, aber wenn das Wetter nicht mitspielt kann man auch im Keller kreativ sein. Ich hatte einige Herbstblätter gesammelt und diese in einer kleinen Klemme befestigt. Dann hatte ich die Kamera auf die Blätter ausgerichtet und die Kamera dann während der Belichtung um die eigene optische Achse gedreht. Bei einigen Bildern habe ich zusätzlich noch am Zoom gedreht. Ausgeleuchtet hatte ich die Blätter mit verschiedenen Taschenlampen aus verschieden Winkeln.

WHAT IS LIGHT PAINTING?
Light painting is a unique form of art. The artist illuminates the scene with diverse light sources and paints light traces into the picture with various light tools. In addition, we use various other techniques, such as camera rotation or other movements of the camera during the exposure. The creative possibilities are almost unlimited.
All our pictures were taken during one single exposure. Apart from denoising, sharpening, cutting and possibly adjusting the white balance, our pictures are not processed on the computer.
