Getting Coffee at Marco Pollo Cafe

It was already 10 AM in Saturday morning and we are already out at the mall lazily walking in circles. I feel soooooo sleepy that I might want to pull up my imaginary bed and hit the sack.. hehehe.. I have not had a very good night sleep last night, I kept waking up in between weeee hours.

So, we decided to jack up our caffeine intake and hoping that it would give me a kick and keep me awaken throughout the day.

Surprisingly, the Marco Pollo Cafe was in sight. Why not get one there.

The Place

Marco Pollo Cafe is sitting right in the middle of Robinsons North, in front of the Supermarket. Its not big but enough for a few people.

Since, it was early we seemed to have the place to ourselves. They have a quite cute sofa and furnitures where you can enjoy your coffee break.

I did say I only want coffee, right??? and I prefer mine cold! Yes I truly do. Though sometimes, on a very rare occasions, I get a hot cup. But not today.

Mocha Frappucino

The frappe was not to my liking, I was hoping that I could still taste some grindy and melty ice in my mouth. It was more of a Ice-Cold Coffee mixed with Chocolate and topped with whipped cream. Though the caffeine kick was there alright.

Much to my surprise I saw that they have the trending *Selfie Coffee Mug! And to top that all, they had it at a very cheap price. In my mind I always thought it would be pricey. So I basically ordered one and I was pretty excited actually.

Hmmmmm.. I feel as if I was looking at a digital picture in my mug. It was so cute! I am impressed! I had been staring at it like about a minute or so, I dont want to ruin the picture.

But the ex-boyfie could not wait any longer and wanted to dig in and take a sip of that coffee.

Really???? Why does it has to be my face first that you have to cut it out? Why not yours?!!!!! I dont get it? (rolling my eyes!)

Whaaaat??! (he just burst to laugther)

And he is pretty enjoying it... A LOT!

My Verdict

Kidding aside, it was a very lovely coffee. It wasn't that strong but it was okay especially for a price like that. I could get another cup of this anytime. I already told a handful of my friends about it and they will gonna give it a try and get a cup soon.

The Selfie Latte is a must try for all coffee lovers out there. Its a new twist in drinking our coffee.
