Good morning Lions I trust you have had a wonderful night I've been a little busy of late but still happy to bring you the latest crypto news in between working on my own project.
Today I would like to introduce you to another NFT marketplace that is starting or should have started yesterday but due to a hick up has not launched yet. Talis will be launching on the Terra Network and their slogan is From Monet to Money and they're promising to to provide something more than just an NFT market place.
First of all lets discuss their branding which appears to be a cartoonified approach that really captures that artistic look and feel. Extra points for their main website being interactive with those little cartoons able to be flicked around with your mouses curser.

As we entre the website we see the same colour pallet utilised throughout the NFT site even the connect wallet buttons have been cartoonified which gives off a pretty cool impression. The gallery and collections tabs are pretty decent with a search function built into it.
Creating a profile is relatively easy and free all you need is a terra wallet, connect to it and fill in the blanks. No costly establishment fee which helps. I can't comment too much on the cost to mint as it isn't functioning as yet but I will be happy to give it a try once it is fully operational.
However I can't help but feel that it isn't quite finished as you might be able to tell there isn't many other options to seek further information such as whitepaper or road maps.

In order to get to the White Paper or roadmap I had to google it which took me back to the site as it didn't come up in the search. I found this a little odd but I guess understandable for a new project just getting off the ground.
So what are the new features?
I wasn't able to find much information on line apart from a few blogs written but others that were a little light on but from the information is received through discussion in their official discord Talis will have a curation setting which leverages off Anchor's stable coin pool which enables artists to get paid through community curation.
There will also be the ability to print designs straight onto T-Shirts, Hats, mugs and the like from the website and have them shipped to you. Also on the protocol is a community court where users can report stolen art and it will be investigated with a community decision on what is the outcome for the user.
There is also the ability to loan art if the pieces are too expensive and you can earn curation from them and to be honest I am not too clear on that option.
Talis appears to be attempting to bring income to artists even if they dont sell art which is always a good thing so long as it is not being misused but it's great that someone is trying to do something but will it work?
I am looking forward to learning more about the project and once I find more information happy to share it with the broader community.
What are your thoughts? do you know more about Talis? feel free to let me know in the comments section below.
