Quien no conoce el amor, no puede amar. Así que comencemos por amarnos a nosotros mismos, pero en nuestra totalidad, en el "holos". Eso implica conocernos, reconocernos y aceptarnos. .
Nadie es perfecto, pero todos tenemos el anhelo de perfección, por lo tanto podemos mejorar nuestra totalidad, desarrollando progresivamente facultades que pueden estar dormidas o subdesarrolladas.
Mis imperfecciones están en mí, forman parte de mi ser y de mi estar. Debo amarme con ellas, si las odio, me odio. El amor propio debe darme fortaleza para mejorar lo que creo que debo cambiar, debo buscar en mi las estrategias para cambiar lo que puedo cambiar, para aceptar amorosamente lo que no puedo cambiar

Como el interior de una flor, nuestro mundo interior alberga una exquisita riqueza, pero hay que encontrarla. Observarnos, reflexionar y meditar son experiencias que nos permitirán acercarnos al maravilloso ser que cada uno de nosotros es, por encima de la cantidad de defectos que podamos tener, siempre seremos un maravilloso ser humano, digno de amar y ser amado.
Amo ese maravilloso ser humano que soy, del cual descubro cada día un poco más, al cual apoyo en sus dudas y perdono en sus errores; porque soy un maravilloso ser humano imperfecto y en lugar de sentirme culpable por eso, me acepto tal y como me conozco.

Digo tal y como me conozco, porque una de mis limitaciones es la incapacidad de conocerme completamente; pero con constancia y las citadas estrategias de observación, reflexión y meditación me permitirán alcanzar un progresivamente un mayor conocimiento de mi misma.

Es increíble como del amor por uno mismo, llegamos al amor hacia los demás. Algo bien distante de las actitudes ególatras, para las cuales el amor al ego exalta su posición por encima de los demás y distorsiona el amor hacia el sí mismo, distanciándolo del compartir con el otro que es fundamental para el ser humano integral.

It is incredible how from love for oneself, we come to love towards others. Es recomendable mirarse al espejo y ayudar a elevar la autoestima, diciéndonos que bien nos vemos, como nos favorece el nuevo look o imaginarnos un cambio favorecedor.
También es recomendable manifestar nuestro orgullo por un logro alcanzado, especialmente si nos hemos esforzado mucho, y mirarnos en el espejo, con los ojos brillantes por el entusiasmo del triunfo. Que bueno sentirse así y disfrutarlo. Y grabar en la mente esa imagen nuestra ante el éxito, para recordarla y vigorizarnos en momentos menos exitosos y repotenciar de ese modo la autoestima.
