Good things come to those who wait
Hello, friends around the world. Hello, friends on Hive. Lovers of the most delicious, refreshing, golden liquid in the world: beer. Today is Saturday, and it’s time to share a beer as part of this platform’s most delicious initiative, #beersaturday.
Today the water truck is supposed to pass through the area where my mother lives, so I got ready early to help carry water. As you know, we haven’t had drinking water coming through the pipes for over a month, so we have to find a solution. In this case, a water truck sent by the government will pass through our area, but since we don’t know what time it will arrive, we have to wait.
After waiting for two hours, my brother decided to buy some beers to pass the time. He bought Polar Light, which is my brother’s favorite, and we sat down to drink and wait.
I’ve mentioned before that Polar Light is the most popular beer among Venezuelan beer drinkers, especially among young people. You could say it’s the beer in highest demand, since it’s smooth and refreshing.
With 3.5% alcohol and ingredients like water, malted barley, grains, hops, and stabilizers, it’s a beer that’s not only low in alcohol but also has a smooth, effervescent flavor and is very affordable. It costs $0.70.
Although we had to wait quite a while for the tanker truck, we passed the time with a few cold beers, which helped us stay relaxed.
After having two beers and refreshing ourselves, we gathered strength to continue with all the joy in the world. I would like to invite my friend to delight us with a post on The #BeerSaturday Challenge - Week 456, an initiative of the #beer community and the incomparable and friend
