This week I looked around the photography tag and found a few posts that caught my eye. We will see some star photography, a night view of a city from a mountaintop, an interesting fungus growing.. or maybe a plant fruit?, some pictures of autumn up in the desert mountains, and city photography. A little bit of everything this week in my photography picks.
Here are five Hive plankton and minnows talking about their photography posts:

A Blanket of Stars by
Visiting a remote windmill at night they capture some great shots of the stars on a clear night. Luckily for this Hive user they live very close to this spot so it was easy to get to.

Colores de otoño en la sierra / Autumn colors in the mountains by
@monycatt/colores-de-otono-en-la-sierra-autumn-colors-in-the-mountains
In this post we get to see the autumn colors in the Sierra mountains, the view of brush and rocky mountain sides gives a very special feel to it.

Night View of the City from the Peak of Kotal Mountain ( Night Photograpy) by
@asgharali/night-view-of-the-city
Taking an hour to reach the top, they walk in the moon light to the peak. Once there they take some great pictures of the city below. Such a contrasting feeling up on the mountain away from everything yet you can see a large city off in the distance.

Fungi lovers-the red fairy cup mushroom (Sarcoscypha coccinea) with unique variations by
@herryson/fungi-lovers-the-red-fairy
This fruit is something I have not seen before, they say its a mushroom but I think its some kind of plant fruit. With its red color and hairs I wonder what it is.

Kidnapped by a group of teenagers: From street photographer to private photographer in minutes. 😂 by
Out on the streets of Havana a group of teenagers was the subject of the photography here. It ended up being a whole experience and wrote a great post about it.
It was great seeing all the photography posts this week, I just found my batteries for my GH6. So I am excited to go out and take some pictures of my own. Soon enough but I just keep finding myself with moving tasks taking more priority. But soon enough it should all slow and will be able to go out and get some great photos.
Thats my five picks for this week, come back next week to see Solo's next weekly picks. I curate posts every Tuesday and do this through MSP. Thanks so much to the Minnow Support Group for giving me the opportunity to serve as a curator!
