Día de bicicleta visitando el fortin
Comenzamos nuestro camino pedaleando un poco por las cercanías, hasta que decidimos alejarnos hasta un centro comercial, donde haríamos unas cuentas carreras y tomaríamos camino hasta mi destino favorito, una montaña llamada el morro
We started our way pedaling a little bit in the surroundings, until we decided to move away to a shopping center, where we would make a few runs and we would take the road to my favorite destination, a mountain called the morro.
Cuando estábamos ya llegando al morro, ya íbamos un poco cansados, pero con todas las ganas de seguir y subir esa montaña. Decidimos tomar un camino diferente al normal, pero realmente no sabíamos lo que nos esperaba. Ese camión en particular estaba en muy malas condiciones, y estaba bastante pequeño y peligroso. Además de eso, a cada lado del camino habían miles de arbustos con espinas, lo que daba aún más miedo. Yo decidí colocarme un suéter, para que las espinas no tocaran directamente mis brazos en caso de que pasara cerca de ellos.
When we were already arriving to the morro, we were already a little tired, but with all the desire to continue and climb that mountain. We decided to take a different road than normal, but we really didn't know what was in store for us. That particular truck was in very bad condition, and it was quite small and dangerous. On top of that, on each side of the road there were thousands of bushes with thorns, which was even scarier. I decided to put on a sweater, so that the thorns would not touch my arms directly in case I passed near them.
Esta subida fue bastante complicada, más que otras que hayamos completado, por el cansancio previo y todo lo que suponía. Llegamos hasta una zona llamada el fortín de la magdalena, donde hay un mirador turístico y unas edificación históricas para esta montaña.
This climb was quite complicated, more so than others we had completed, because of the previous fatigue and all that it entailed. We reached an area called the fort of the Magdalena, where there is a tourist viewpoint and some historical buildings for this mountain.
Al llegar ahí, estaba horriblemente cansada, y nos paramos un buen rato para observar las vistas y descansar de tanta bicicleta. Tomamos mucha agua y descansamos, decidimos tomar unas fotos bonitas del lugar y de nosotros, para recordar este bonito día.
When we arrived there, I was horribly tired, and we stopped for a while to observe the views and rest from so much cycling. We drank a lot of water and rested, decided to take some nice pictures of the place and of us, to remember this beautiful day.
Nos armamos de valor para mentalizarnos que aun nos quedaba el camino de regreso, y estaba oscureciendo un poco. Logramos bajar la montaña pero en cierto lugar me lastime con unas espinas en una mano, ya que estas pasaron muy cerca de mi manubrio y rozaron mi mano
We got up the courage to get ready for the return trip, and it was getting a little dark. We made it down the mountain but at a certain point I hurt my hand on some thorns, as they passed very close to my handlebars and brushed against my hand.
Luego de bajar completamente, comenzamos el camino a casa, el cual por el cansancio, no fue nada sencillo.
After descending completely, we started our way home, which due to the fatigue, was not easy at all.
Tratamos de contabilizar como nos fue en el camino, y terminamos haciendo 15kilometros. Tal vez no sea un número muy alto, pero tomando en cuenta que subimos y bajamos caminos difíciles, me dejó muy contenta ese número
We tried to count how we did on the way, and we ended up doing 15kilometers. It may not be a very high number, but taking into account that we climbed and descended difficult roads, I was very happy with that number.
