After attending the afternoon Sunday mass, my family and I dined at Marina. They have a stall at SM foodcourt along with other restaurants and it was noticeable that a lot of people were queueing. It's because they serve delicious Filipino cuisine at a reasonable cost.
We ordered Batchoy, Nilagang Baka and Vegetable Lumpia.
The vegetable lumpia was really crispy with carrots, sayote and other veggies that I coulnd't tell what. I like to dip it in vinegar.
Nilagang Baka is a Filipino style beef soup. It is made of greens like pechay or cabbage, beef shanks, sayote and potato. Some even added sweet corn and saba banana. Black Pepper and chilis are also included to add spicyness to the soup. The serving we ate was full of beef and greens. You can be full with just eating this with rice.
The Batchoy is a noodle soup with slices of pork, pig innards and crumbs of crispy pork skin. It is often added with egg on top and onion chives. I am also fond of adding black pepper to have a bit of spicy taste.
Love lots,
❤
