After you have harvested all the water simply break the cocoon half with a big knife or a rock.
Then you can get all the meat out with a simple spoon.
There are variations in the coco meat. Some very thick and hard some soft and slimy.
The young coconut meat that is very soft is best to eat right away with a spoon. It’s very delicious, nutritious and readable as is.
The thick meat is hard to eat and hard to digest. So I save it for cooking dishes or making raw coconut milk!
After all the meat is harvested wash it of in a sink as it will have lots of debris on it.
Then put it in the fridge to keep it fresh for a week!
There are so many ways to use the coconut meat and we basicly use it in every meal!
