Ever since the Monkeygland Sauce recipe (see that recipe here), I've had many requests for more sauce and spice recipes. Unfortunately a lot of these recipes are competition recipes and can't be shared... however, I did come across this really lekker Cajun spice recipe that I wanted to share with you.
Of course it's not really a braai if you aren't actually braaing anything, and a handful of spice doesn't really fill the tummy... so in this episode I use it on some pork steaks and chops. For an extra little twist, I gave them a quick sear in a honey & butter mix before they went to the grill.
tip: don't use as much butter and honey as I did in the video... the idea is for a glaze and a light sear... not a rinse :P
P.S. This cajun spice will work equally really well on seafood.
