I will present you one of my favorite desserts that always astounds my guests :
Ingredients (about 8 people)
• 400g strawberries
• Limoncello to soak the biscuits
• Twenty biscuits with a spoon
• 4 tablespoons lemon juice
• 4 eggs
• 150g sugar
• 400g of mascarpone
Preparation
STEP 1
Separate the whites from the yolks.
STEP 2
In a salad bowl, beat with the electric mixer the egg yolks with the sugar.
STEP 3
Mix the mascarpone with the lemon juice, then incorporate it into the egg yolks, whisking the mixture.
STEP 4
Fold the whites until they are firm and incorporate them gently into the egg-sugar-mascarpone mixture.
STEP 5
Cut strawberries in small cubes according to the mode of presentation you choose (individual classe or dish for several servings).
STEP 6
Soak the biscuits quickly on each side in the Limoncello (If you soak them too long the dessert will be too alcoholic! I made this mistake the first time 😁)
STEP 7
Proceed with assembly : alternate a layer of biscuits with a layer of strawberries then cream.
It is a good and original alternative to the classic tiramisu. It is fresh and super good!
