Yes, many or most of the world religion are ancient, which could be a trigger for everyone to believe or follow a religion.
Some might say religion are all superstition to human believes.
But believing in one or not believing at some circumstances doesn't matters, its how your mind and thoughts thinks towards others.
Believing in one will give more meaning and emphasis of life, and guidance. Being a believer doesn't means being the purest amongst others, but how your mentality and mindset and intuition is amongst others. But that's not all what being a believer to a religion is all about. There are countless. But a believer to a religion is important and should be subjective, in what I think.
But every body has his/her own thought towards religion
