Il ristorante di oggi è una pseudo novità anche per me. L'avevo provato più di 15 anni fa e ad essere sincero non mi ricordavo fosse così buono. Ci sono andato molto recentemente e sono rimasto piacevolmente soddisfatto.
Il nome del ristorante è La Bufalina.
Location: a differenza del Gabbiano che si trova al centro di Viareggio, la Bufalina è all'ingresso di Torre del Lago, paese vicino Viareggio famoso per aver ospitato Giacomo Puccini (l'illustre compositore). Il ristorante è molto grande ed è situato in mezzo al verde della pineta di Torre del Lago. Dispone sia di tavoli al chiuso che all'aperto, rendendo gradevole la serata anche di estate.
Menu: Il piatto forte della casa sono i tonnarelli all'Astice. Il sughetto di accompagno e il sapore leggermente piccante, rendono il piatto veramente unico.
Anche gli antipasti non sono male, anche se li sconsiglio perchè molto costosi.
Se, invece, volete provare un piatto mai assaggiato prima, vi consiglio il granchio con frutta. Oltre ad essere molto scenico è anche molto leggero
Prezzo: preparatevi a mettere sul piatto almeno 50 €. Il ristorante è abbastanza costoso, ma una volta ogni tanto si può fare.

Today's restaurant is a pseudo-novelty for me as well. I had tried it more than 15 years ago and to be honest I did not remember it was so good. I recently returned and I was pleasantly satisfied.
The name of the restaurant is La Bufalina.
Location: Unlike "Il Gabbiano" that was located in the center of Viareggio, "la Bufalina" is at the entrance of Torre del Lago, near Viareggio, famous for hosting Giacomo Puccini (the illustrious composer). The restaurant is very large and it is located in the middle of the green of the pine forest of Torre del Lago. It has both indoor and outdoor tables, making the evening very pleasant during the summer.
Menu: The best plate of the house is the Tonnarelli all'Astice (a special kind of pasta with lobster). The accompanying sauce and the slightly spicy flavor make the dish truly unique.
Even the starters are not bad, although I do not recommend them because they are very expensive.
If, however, you want to try a dish you have never tasted before, I recommend the crab with fruit. Besides being very scenic it is also very light.
** Price **: Prepare to put on the plate at least 50 €. The restaurant is quite expensive, but you can afford it once in a while
