Purpose / Intention: Aerobic run filling the heatmap.
Result: Heat (~75 degrees Fahrand some hills led to higher heart rate. Still a good run. Took time for photos.
Nutrition: Continuing adjustment to fat-adapted. Started run 3 hours after 3-egg omelet for breakfast. 2 spoons of raw almond butter before I left the house. Only water on the run. After run I was a little hungry for lunch but not really famished.
Route
I discovered the Relive app the other day thanks to and thought I'd give it a try. Here's a video of the route and photos.
Photos
The run had some art sprinkled through it on the the sidewalk and walls. (I collect for sidewalk art. There will be a post dedicated to it later.)

There were shapes and colors (including the color version of the first photo... I couldn't decide which I liked more). My business had an office in the white building (designed by my landlord). Like all outdoor public staircases I encounter in my runs, I ran this one.

I stopped to call my parents who were driving back after being in LA to celebrate my and my brother's birthdays. My father answered and I asked what their address was on the street I was on. It's all of one block so I knew it would be easy to find their building. They lived there when my eldest brother was born. This is it.

Half a block from my car, I saw this house. It turns out the owner was taking out his garbage so he asked me what I was up to. When I told him that I take pictures of interesting things in the neighborhoods where I run, he told me the story of pretty much everything there. His brother started it years ago and has since died so he doesn't want to take it down. His children had taken it over but they are grown now and moved out. Jimmy Hendrix is there along with another musician who was a friend of this man's and, like the rest, died. The rest was an eclectic mix of memorabilia and oddities.

All in all, I enjoyed this run but given my issues keeping in the aerobic zone, I'm going to wake up earlier this week and run in the morning. Chances are, it will also improve my productivity and running schedule.
