Okay, so it wasn't all in one go, but it's a personal achievement. I generally run twice a week for about 17km in total. As we had a long weekend I thought I'd try running on all three days. Saturday and Sunday were shorter runs with some intervals (short sprints with rests between) and today was the longer run. The distances had to be slightly approximated as the GPS on my phone lost signal and today the phone rebooted half way. The Endomondo site does offer the ability to draw your route, but that's approximate as I was not always on roads.
I'm only competing against myself, so I welcome any achievements. I seem to have gotten slower over the last couple of years, so I need to try and build up some strength. Got to fight against age too. I had hoped to do a half marathon event this year, but not sure that will happen. Will try and fit in an extra run each week and see how it goes.
