Back in the day when I was in better shape (and a few years younger) I had the pleasure of competing in a 48 hour ultra up in Quebec put on by the wonderful runner Michel Gouin. Unfortunately the race didn't go as well as I had hoped and ended up getting my 100 miles in just a few minutes over 24 hours before calling it a day. That said, being a long-time runner meant always planning every thing out and recording what I did to see what worked, and more importantly, what didn't. So here's my summary of my race from those years ago that I found just the other day while cleaning up the RV.
