A total of 3 runs this week:
- Tuesday - intervals - 5Ks
- Friday - treadmill hill intervals - 7Ks
- Saturday - Park Run - 5K
Total distance = 15K
It's nice to be back to my three standard runs, although they took it out of me TBH. I almost pulled out of the Park Run this a.m. because of a slight twinge in the hamstring, but I managed it. Just took it a bit easy, at least until the end...
Tuesday's Run - Intervals
The most intense i've done for a while - 4* 400, and then 3* 200 - I want to make 4 of each my standard interval session.
This felt quite tough!
Thursday's Run - treadmill easyish 5K
It's all I felt like doing Thursday, keeping things ticking over. 13 for 3Ks and then up in .5s for 500 M to finish on 15 KPH.
Saturday's Run - Park Run
16th with a time of 22.21 - best finish, but more than a minute slower than my PB - I was feeling tired before i started and my legs were feeling achy after my two previous runs. One for the bank this.
I started off nice and slow, then got into it - nice quick last KM, overtook many many people, massive gaggle of lads which was NICE! Prey!
I guess the best position is because a lot of people are away for the long weekend, it did feel quiet!
Next week's plans
Three days of work next week, so probably no running Weds - Friday. I might try and make it to the Park Run in Leicester before steemcamp, IF I can find somewhere to shower.
Or I guess i could just have a french wash.
