USA- The Viking probe, launched in 1976 by NASA to inspect Mars in search of biological findings, was successful, although scientists hypothesized that organic remains would have reached Mars due to the impact of meteorites on its surface. The mission found these remains that were removed by using a probe torch to extract material for investigation.
