I accidentally said wrong word of week... It should be "Justin Sun" (I told "Jason Sun").
Shooting of this entry was adventure and education at once. Adventure, because an author of this piece was there.
First I tried to set registration by myself. @organduo wrote me in Messenger a day before that Foundations means principals, flutes and strings. So for first manual I chose Principal 8′ and Flauto major 8′. But I was feeling that something's missing. A stop of strings. For second manual Quinta dulce 3′ and Hohlflaut 8′. For pedals Subbass 16′ and Violonbass 8′. But I wasn't sure about first manual. So I asked @organduo for help.
It wasn't simple help. He made a little lecture about registrations. What I remember from it.
First @organduo helped to find that missing stop. He told me that it is 8' stop from strings section. But first I didn't see it. For me the most mysterious stop was Salicional 8′. Names of others stops more or less clearly describe sound of it. Name of this stop hadn't any associations with instruments for me, so my guess was Salicional 8′. And it was right...
@organduo explained me how to understand which stops are strings. He asaked me to play a few notes using Gemshorn 8′ on second manual, Viola gamba 8′ on third manual and Salicional 8′ on first manual and compare their sound. Those who sound the most similarly belong to same category.
@organduo explained that pipes of flutes stops are wider than principals. Pipes of strings registers are narrower that of Principals so their sound sharper.
@organduo helped to set better dynamics on second manual. I needed to close Swell 1/3 (before I thought that only 2 positions possible: open or close only)
For pedals @organduo recommended to use Flautbass 8′ instead of Violonbass 8′ because it sounds and works better.
And @organduo I'd like to explain you why I made so many attempts even they sounded the same. When I played chords my fingers were too tight, so I pressed more keys than I really needed. And after several attempts my fingers relaxed, so I could play better chords.
