'Shroom Shoes
Michael Franks created a great song a ways back called Popsicle Toes, more in reference to cold feet in a co-habitational bed than outdoor photography. So I'll call this 'Shroom Shoes... Cold Toes Included instead. It WAS rather chilly out, and my toes were feeling it. Guess that's what I get for choosing the old-beater Saucony's over good boots.
All cold feet aside -- late at night, a bunch of mushrooms I couldn't identify piled up in a large clump, at the bottom of a small Maple tree in the park. The flash misfired as I was getting ready to "get in close", by laying on the ground and getting a bit damp around the edges. These may be puffballs??, but I don't think so. I usually just call them LBM's. Any ideas, let me know.
