What's more freshest you can get other than vegetables and fruits? Yes, a fish right from the sea!
This Fresh fish was the catch of the day, brought to our home in the Philippines by my soon to be brother in law, Rodz.
This is best in Fried with vegetables, or cooked in vinegar, we called it Paksiw in our native cuisine. Perhaps, boiled in a plain water with tomatoes and other veggies with a bit of tamarind.
How Delicious! I soo missed those dish, especially when you just picked all your ingredients on your backyard. Fantastic :-)

In my local hometown, Fresh foods is a must. Life there is much simpler. Plant veggies and fruits and sell them to the market, get fish from the sea, or raise a livestock and sell them. no noise pollution, fresh air, fresh foods. This is how we live in my hometown. I terribly missed it.
I have been dreaming on the day, when my children's are grown. I would love to live in a native house called "Bahay Kubo", made with bamboo woods, dried coconut leaves or cogon grass, and nipa leaves for the wall. Its a well ventilated house, The inside is cooler rather than a house made from cements.
Living with nature surrounded by family and friends. Life is beautiful, indeed. But for now, i might as well appreciate what i have, because as i said, regardless, Life is beautiful indeed! as long as surrounded by all your favourite persons in the world.
