Greetings, everyone!
Back in October, I started generating electricity at home with a single solar panel. From now on, I plan to compile and share monthly reports with my results. I’ll continue to expand the system over time and, whenever possible, keep it focused on a DIY approach.
October was generally sunny and brought decent weather, although the days were already getting shorter, and my setup was far from optimized. Even so, with a single 610W panel paired with a microinverter, I managed to generate 29.33 kWh. At that time, I didn’t have a smart meter installed, so I couldn’t accurately say how much of that energy was consumed locally versus exported to the grid.
This was the first time I had installed a system, and by October, I still didn't have everything ready. I just hooked up the panel to the inverter and left it in the garden, horizontally on a flat surface. Despite this, I was impressed with the amount of energy generated!
